professional, friendly service for confidential shredding. Abbey Shredders Ltd.
Based at Dalston incorporated a paper animal bedding business as well as a confidential
shredding division. The confidential shredding division trading as "Border
Data Destruction" has been established for some years but only recently extended
its service to include "on-site" data destruction using a new state
of the art mobile shredding wagon. In view of this legal implication of the "Data
Protection Act" it was felt necessary to shred all documents on-site and
issue a certificate of destruction. Already providing a regular service to many
well known businesses in the region including solicitors, health centres, accountants
and retailers we would be delighted to have the opportunity to discuss data destruction
for your company.Abbey Shredders identified a requirement in the market for quality
paper bedding, servicing the horse fraternity, cow cubicles, kennels and pheasant
rearing. The state of art shredding plant based at Dalston has the ability to
tailor shredded material to suit individual customer needs. All shredded paper
used for animal bedding is subjected to a rigorous dust extraction process before
final packing in 20 kg bales which are polythene wrapped for ease of handling.
Our 'state of the art' mobile shredder services a wide range of business sectors
from GP's Surgeries, to solicitors offices and banks. We safely dispose of all
kinds of confidential waste materials including files, computer papers, tapes,
disks, CD's, X rays, badges, uniforms and textile products. We take care of your
waste, customising our services to suit your business. Supplying clients with
either plastic wheeled bins incorporating security letter boxes, or 'confidential'
sacks with security tags to hold the waste, the Abbey Shredders vehicle arrives
on-site at a pre-designated time to collect and process. The waste is weighed
and customers are issued with a weight print out along with the legally required
Certificate of Destruction, minimising the time clients spend on safe waste disposal,
and ensuring all current legislation is implemented. We then dispose of the waste,
at a suitable recycling facility.Highly absorbent newsprint for improved animal
comfort. Dust extraction ensures any potential respiratory issues are minimised.
20kg polythene makes, easily handled for manual distribution of bedding. Environmentally
friendly bedding using recycled newsprint which is easily absorbed back into the
land.
